Sunburn Protection Body oil – Make it yourself recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 oz coconut oil, stirable -- not solid, not liquid
  • 2 TBSP (1 oz) Pomegranate seed oil
  • 2 TBSP (1 oz) Raspberry seed oil
  • 90 - 108 drops Lavender essential oil (2-1/2% - 3% dilution)

Instructions

Blend together carrier oils, blend in lavender essential oil.

This oil will spreads on easiest if you skin is a little damp, for example; after a shower or a dip in the ocean 🙂

Coconut oil has an SPF of 4, while pomegranate and raspberry seed oils can provide an SPF of up to 30 (depending on varieties).  This sunblock will NOT block Vitamin D as commercial sunblocks do.

This sunblock is nutrition for your skin instead of the chemical assault that comes from commercial sunblocks.
