Roasted Asparagus

  • 1 pound of asparagus
  • 1 to 2 garlic cloved, minced
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Fresh ground salt


Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Snap the woody ends off of the asparagus.  Place in a single layer on a baking sheet. Sprinkle garlic over asparagus and drizzle with olive oil. 

Bake (or grill) at 400 degrees, turning every few minutes. When asparagus starts to wrinkle and turn brown (approx. 5 minutes) remove from heat and sprinkle fresh ground salt.
